The Hawkeyes are going on tour! Chill out Island Style with a performance by the Iowa Steel Band on Sunday, May 12 at McKinley Band Shell! This is a free event for the whole family!
Join us for some of the best of Caribbean music such as calypso, soca, and reggae as well as folk, popular, and jazz styles to the most challenging new music for pans by composers such as Ray Holman, Andy Narell, Victor Provost, Pelham Goddard, Machel Montano, and many others.
This is a FREE event. However, please bring your own chair or picnic blanket. You are welcome to bring food and drink, but please be respectful of our park: No glass, and whatever you bring in, please bring out with you.
