CRESTON ARTS DEPOT GALLERY

Creston Arts Gallery is housed at 116 W. Adams St. in Creston’s Restored Depot. The Depot was built in 1899 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 when it was restored as Creston City Hall. 

The gallery is a place to showcase local talent and visiting artists. Admission to Creston Arts Gallery is free and open 6 days a week or by appointment.

 

The public is invited to an artist's reception at the gallery from 6 to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. 

Artists and curators interested in exhibiting in the Creston Arts Gallery in 2024/25 are invited to apply.

This year's SWCC Student Exhibition revolves around the theme of "Potluck". Each piece showcased represents a unique interpretation of food or food-based items. Spanning across various disciplines including 3D Design, Ceramics, Drawing I and II, Graphic Design, and Art Appreciation, and contributions from over 30 students this exhibition promises a delectable feast for the senses.

 

Opening reception Friday, May 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Light refreshments will be available!
